Tutukaka Holidaypark - Basic Camp Rules

BASIC RULES / CONDITIONS OF OCCUPANCY 

Office Hours

April to December (inclusive): 7.30am - 7pm
December-March (inclusive): 7.30am - 8pm

Arrival

Arrival time: from 1 pm.

Departure time

10am - this applies to everybody. No facilities to be used after this time. No coming back after diving etc. to use our facilities unless you have paid for an extra night.

Cancellation and Deposit Policy

Tutukaka Holiday Park Cancellation & Deposit Policy
A full refund is given (less an administration fee of $25) if the cancellation is within 21 days prior to the arrival date.

For the peak period from 24th December through to the 15th January 3 nights tariff will be required for the deposit and 12 weeks notice of cancellation of your booking. No refunds are give if cancellation is outside these times.
There is a minimum charge of 2 adults per site for powered or unpowered from 20th December to 10th February.

Credit cards will be accessed on the day of making the booking for one nights tariff (or three nights in the peak) which is held as the deposit. Bookings are not confirmed until payment of the deposit by credit card has been transferred to our account. Balance of accounts are payable on arrival. Payment must be made for the full time booked. No reductions for early departure.
COVID-19 Cancellation Policy
This policy will apply to any guest that is unable to make their booking due to testing positive for COVID-19.
Your COVID-19 cancellation/amendment options are as follows:
  1. Cancel the booking and keep the credit to use on a future booking (valid 24 months)
  2. Change your booking dates

Both above options will not incur any administration fees.

In the case of a request for a COVID-19 cancellation/amendment, the guest will be requested to provide either a medical certificate, or notification from the Ministry of Health to show their positive result.


Caravans & Campervans

All must have an electrical warrant of fitness and comply with LPG Standard (NZS 5428: 1996). All campervans and caravans must have their own wastewater container. Some sites have their own waste water and sewage connections. Chemical toilets must be emptied in our designated dump site.

Tents

Electricity can only be connected through an approved RCD Safety Switch.

No Fires permitted

Parking

Vehicles are to be parked on own site only - not on driveways. Boats are to be parked in the area provided at the end of the camp.

Speed

Speed in park to be walking pace only.

Conduct

Quietness between 10:30 pm and 7am. Some discretion is required on New Years Eve. Reasonable behaviour and dress at all times. No liquor to be consumed in park except on own site or in accommodation units.
Excessive drinking & parties are forbidden. Payment of a behaviour bond may be required for group bookings. Consideration must be shown at all times to other guests.

Damage

Cost of damage to property or accommodation by guests or their visitors will be recovered from the patrons.

Children

Children to be controlled and supervised by parents at all times.

Warning: There is an unfenced tidal drain on the western side of the camp

Visitors

Visitors are by courtesy of the management at all times but are your responsibility and should depart by 10pm. Visitor's vehicles to be left outside or in the visitor's car park.

Pets

Not admitted. No dogs allowed as this park is within a Kiwi area.

Rubbish

To be wrapped and placed in receptacles provided.

  We ask for your co-operation so that your stay and the stay of other guests can be enjoyable.
If any of these rules, health & safety or fire regulations are breached you may be required to leave the park without refund.
